Privacy Policy — PagePrune

Last updated: July 2026 (v1.0.0)

PagePrune is designed to be private by architecture, not just by policy.

What we collect

Nothing. PagePrune has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. We never see the pages you clean or print.

How your data is handled

Everything PagePrune does to a page happens inside your browser, on your device. The page you're cleaning is never transmitted anywhere — there is no server to send it to. Your preferences (text size, margins) and any per-site cleanup rules you save are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's extension storage, and never leave your device.

Network requests

PagePrune makes no network requests while cleaning or printing pages. The only network traffic the extension can ever produce is a license check with ExtensionPay if you buy Pro (see below). That request never contains any page content.

Payments (Pro)

Pro purchases are processed by ExtensionPay and Stripe. If you upgrade, ExtensionPay handles your payment email and license status; PagePrune only learns whether this browser has an active license. The pages you clean are never sent to ExtensionPay, Stripe, or anyone else. The free tier works without any of this.

Third parties

No data is shared with, or sold to, any third party beyond the payment processing described above.
